OK so yeah Manticore just started and it is instantly better. So much more diverse than Darkly. Kind of reminds me of Existence Is Futile actually.

Also I think An Enemy Led The Tempest is one of my fave Cradle tunes. Sooooooooo many great ones on here.
Also Serpent Tongue and Carrion and all of section IV (Mannequin, I Thank God For The Suffering and that ppeeeerfect another career high The Smoke Of Her Burning).

I do tend to skip the orchestral openings to each section of the album but other than that there’s no bloat here at all, every song bangs
