yeah i will concede that those songs live are somehow even more filthy. last time i saw them matt stacked some effects on the ending of possession so that when they come in for the last part of the breakdown with vocals it was even more distorted with a ton of feedback between the hits. so sick.

They are great live for sure. I just really love Matt’s tone on Christfucker. Dialing back the distortion for a lot of it makes the heavier parts hit harder. I think it makes his vocals stand out more, too.

I was definitely thinking this should have just been an ep and then I found it was today. The first half of the album rips, I don’t really care for the metal orchestral arrangement I’ll be honest. I could’ve lived without hearing that but good on them for trying something new I suppose.
