If fantano doesn't like it it's probably pretty good

Less embarrassing than being above the age of 15 and saying positive things about Fall Out Boy in 2023

How out of touch do you have to be to think FOB fans are still 14 year olds

Only heard hold me like a grudge and love from the other side so far but they're already the best thing they've done in over a decade.

the first 2 songs are solid, then there's the rest of the album

Except that Fake Out, Heaven Iowa, and the t/t are all arguably better than the first two songs

Yeah, those three (esp Fake Out) and Kintsugi Kid are a tidy set of highlights, much as the opener kinda bangs
Don't ever plan on revisiting the rest of this, but those tracks are on comfort food duties from now on

“the first 2 songs are solid, then there's the rest of the album”
This is pretty much how I felt too. It’s all good but not as good after the beginning to me

It's tragic that there are so many adults in this country with development so arrested that they still like Fall Out Boy after graduating high school

My 4 year old son thought they were singing "So much for Starbucks". I mean, if we're talking about $$$, it kind of makes sense.

Kintsugi Kid is the one i enjoyed most after one spin, even though the chorus is a pretty generic "na nanana nana". This is a good album but it's hard to get that excited about these guys anymore.
