I started out a little underwhelmed by the first two tracks….but by the time I got to the end of the album I was enjoying it a lot. Now I love those first two tracks and everything else on the album. While nothing can compare to the electrifying live concerts beloved by early Babymetal enthusiasts, they have given us a studio album of wonderful songs and the lead vocals are inspired. Overall I would say it’s pretty much perfect and exactly the right direction for the band. This is a stripped back, minimalist Babymetal and I give it top marks.

Still so bummed about them coming to Europe but only as opener for Sabaton. As much as I love Babymetal and want to see them live, I sure as fuck aint gonna buy a Sabaton ticket

I've seen Accept years ago when they opened for Sabaton (which is already ridiculous ffs) and I walked out before Sabaton lol. I did see Sabaton too before that though, when a friend asked me. So I paid my Sabaton quota. It was the loudest show I've been to btw, literally louder volume than Slayer.
