it's more like there is a movement to defend lasagna and they protest sometimes, and sometimes they are joined by the members of the Defend Lasagna organisation, and sometimes on some of the protests things get out of hand from some few participants who wield dry spaghetti, unclear where those came from.
against these groups stand an equally large anti-lasagna group that wants to ban lasagna and have everyone who ever ate lasagna literally dead and they carry dry spaghetti literally every time, whether they protest or not, also they use dry spaghetti to kill, beat, endanger, and intimidate anyone they suspect of being close to lasagna.
and then we have limpdick centrist cowards saying shit like "well they both have been seen using dry spaghetti, so both sides bad"
