I want to like this band as much as you guys. I tried the last two, and I will give this one a shot, but didn't really enjoy the songwriting on the single I heard.

@DungeonBoy, even if you don't like this/their more recent efforts, I'd still suggest checking Suffocating in the Swarm of Cranes, it's a bit different and feels like something you might like.

checked 2 songs, drums are way too loud, i feel like this band can never get their mixes right. also feel like all their songs have the same chord progression. stylistically i should like these guys but something always feels off

I need to give this more time but great first impression. Really enjoyed that they brought back some crusty parts. And I’d say the drums sound fine in the mix imo

Alright after multiple listens and coming down from the hype i had yesterday. Agree with Pika this isnt as good as Radical finitude. Production wise im just glad this doesnt sound like its been recorded in a cave. Still its a front runner for my fav album so far of the year.

Actually really enjoyed the mix on this. I like drums loud in black metal for whatever reason. Adds more punch to contrast the dissonance. Album is hitting the spot nicely.
