I get why they decided to release this material separately. With 40 plus minutes each, a cash grab this most definately is not. Great release altogether.

honestly both of them. the whole thing flows really well and the riffs are much more interesting. this one feels really synergistic with the concept while anthro kind of just feels like black/death tunes wrapped in a cosmic horror aesthetic.

The songwriting is amazing, and the fact you keep coming back to some of the main themes makes it the more fantastic. Not to mention when they sprawl those semi-acoustic bits, yummy.The vibe accomplished makes it very Blood Incantationesque, adding a lot of extra depht.
Pherhaps I am also underestimating Anthro, but its one of two things: my brain do not compute all the riffs yet; or I find them kinda random with some lack of structure on some songs, specially on the first tracks.
As you say Anthro its not bad at all, actually pretty damn good. I'm actually mighty impressed on this one and how they keep you engaged in two 20 minutes frantic tracks!

Yeah, both are awesome. I think the songwriting here is a little better (if only cause of how impressive it is that they managed to turn this type of metal into 20 minute tracks that are not boring at all), but Anthro out-riffs this. Not by much mind you.
