your comment was about them "having the integrity to not shill for money doing something they no longer enjoy" i doubt a band with as tumultuous a career as theirs is going to enjoy this whether they profit from it or not, nor do I think they (or any act as mainstream as they are) are virtuous enough to reject every dollar pushed their way

It would be very unreasonable to expect a band to do that, but I also doubt that them cancelling everything has anything to do with "integrity" and "shilling." Perhaps the band is in a chaotic state unfit for performing, or maybe even worse circumstances, but it's generally considered quite rude to cancel events on short notice + with no explanation.

Nailed it 10000%, I may tease and look down my nose at Paramore a little bit because it seems like they can't keep the ship steady for longer than one album cycle. On a serious note, they've experienced a great deal of turnover and turmoil throughout their career. But if you dramatically scrub your socials, delete your website *and* cancel dates on short notice, which is quite rude as you pointed out, you certainly can't fault fans/viewers for speculating on a possible breakup
Slex is over here turning it into that they're anti capitalist revolutionaries lmao
