Pinned is extremely good. Who would have thought some knuckle dragging guitar bros would think of something as inventive as using a dial tone musically

The thing with his vocals for me is that there are moments on this just begging for a snarl and he sounds like he realizes it, commits to attempting it, and then chickens out at the very last second. Could take notes from jawbox.

yuh i wish he had a bit more bite on this. theres moments on The Egg where theyre a tad more aggressive





honestly i dont know why but this band just clicks for me in a way thats made them my comfort band

On my version it’s a separate track but I for sure realized sideways and it were a seamless unit.

Honestly only thing I dislike about this is the vocals, they give an air of black leather wrist cuffs and goatees and spiked hair and gen x alcoholism/domestic abuse but instrumentally this is legitimately very good for what it is
