Parannoul은 나에게 한국어를 배워야 할 필요성을 남겼습니다.

i feel like the term '5th wave emo' would be better replaced by terminally online emo lol

but hyped to check this, his recent collabs have been fantastic and the single was really good

I think this is flirting somewhat dangerously with being a bit one-dimensional but some tracks are certainly undeniable in their vigour

I like the music, Arrival being my favorite so far. My only complaint would be that his voice is a bit monochromatic IMO. It works within the context tho.

finally getting to this - clear step up from To See the Next Part... in most respects and I like the lighter tone, but there's still the old MIDI pantshitting that clashes big time with his lovely session musicians.

Parannoul's sentimentalism in general is so unrelentingly dense that I find a full album of just him more of an undertaking than it should be - thought he shone brightest on Downfall of the Neon Youth where the more abrasive or mercurial stuff AG/Sonhos were packing opened up a space for his kitsch melancholysyrup

but this is nice and I'm happy for him

also anyone who's going hard on this and hasn't peeped the latest Della Zyr, sort yourselves out: https://dellazyr.bandcamp.com/album/nebulous-you

this album is the epitome of a 10 / 10

if you rated it lower you're wrong, objectively speaking, and should rethink your ability to hear sounds

also this album reminds me a lot of Jane Remover which is a great thing because Frailty is arguably the best album of 2021

Oof is this worse than their debut album? I liked the songs they did on that meme split comp with Asian Glow, Hatchie etc

Meme split songs are still best I think; this is 60 minutes of happiness Calpol hm

tryna decide if I even prefer this to Dreamglow - think it's a hair stronger, but Hangthemall is the best track between the two by a decent margin
