Yeah it's devestating
Easily her darkest song to date

Holding a signed copy of this right now and spinning it again. Excellent country-rock record.

The highlights here are pretty fantastic but about every other song leaves me a bit cold.

I guess the main difference for me is that this is without filler. Every song is either a highlight, a lowkey bop, or a deep slow cut.

I agree very much with Sowing, it just seems like every time I spin this, I have a new favorite song. There's so much depth and subtlety that there's always new things to catch on to with every listen.

Definitely my favorite album to come out of January. Can't stop coming back to it.

There's such a nice balance of styles here. Checks every box without feeling like it's trying to.

Talk about how this is a really good, unassuming piece of music that’s her best hands down still holding up too

Kinda reminds me to that Field Division record at times with heavy Fleetwood Mac vibes too, some really nice cuts here. Favorites are Light me Up, Country Road, Hell in the Heartland so far...

This came out in January, but it remains my favorite country album of the year

Someone had to jump in and take over from Tom Petty…wasn’t sure it’d be Margo Price
Jonathan Wilson’s influence is very welcome here, and the Fleetwood Mac’isms on the ballads are top notch
This is v good

It’s a very solid album, probably her best album but still didn’t quite work for me on the whole, I playlisted a few tracks and haven’t gone back to the rest. Don’t love her singing and there’s a certain sheen to this as with all her stuff that I find a bit off putting. The darker moments here are definitely career highlights though.
