Tough crowd huh, didn't get that videogame trailer montage feel, maybe i haven't watched enough.
It's just good ol' doom and gloom, honestly I love the sound of that kit.

My expectations were probably thrown by the first track, I think at the first few minutes I was expecting a Dorie Previn-style breakdown by someone who listened to a lot of Smithsonian Folkways album and outsider music but what I'm getting so far on relisten is pretty good

Aaah i got you. Yeah I agree, somehow I wish she would had explored deeper that eerieness of the first track, because that's exactly her sound, right there.

I'm definitely enjoying this, it doesn't grip me quite a consistently as Natural Born Losers, but there are quite a few gems. A solid start to 2022!
