Advent and Farewell are totally awesome but I feel more often the desire to play The Silent Water and Black Rose Immortal. Damn solid album for sure...

Pretty much my opinion although I've played Black Rose Immortal so many times now that it's just starting to wear slightly thin

Black Rose Immortal drags but does have plenty of incredible parts, especially toward the end

Black rose immortal and to bit u farewell are classic songs and advent is also great but song 2 and 3 are not on par. Aside from awesome moments here and there it's just to little going on overall

Nectar is my least favorite, agreed on it being weaker than the rest (not saying much though), but The Night and the Silent Water is one of my favorite Opeth tracks. This may actually be my favorite Opeth album, I may 5 it one day (second and third position go to MAYH and Orchid).

Advent live was a blast.
