This album is the album I always wished Letlive would make. Glassjaw references are earned here, I rediscovered them from the Glassjaw facebook group lol

Review made me give this a listen. Got about 5 tracks in and this really isn't doing it for me. Glad this type of post-hardcore is still being made but there's just nothing that stands out to me.

@MCJACKDAHL
Fake History was amazing IMO, when that album came out I couldn't really imagine them topping it and they never came close...

I hear more Brand New in the softer instrumental parts than I do in the vocals, but I also haven't given any Brand New a proper listen in a good while so maybe I'm imagining things.

Palumbo in the vox for sure, and certain instrumental bits. I'm not sure I see many people arguing that. All I've been saying is I hear Brand New in there as well. Maybe I'm missing everybody saying they don't hear any Palumbo. Either way, good album.

Just give me a whole album in the style of the first 1:30 of suffocator.

oh my god the closer is actually about Local58, isn't it.
is it bad that that fact pushes it from a 4 to a 4.5 for me

@artificialbox very fond of that album. Actually haven't listened to it in a bit and was surprised in the similarities.

Had never heard of this band before. Completely blown away

This is okay. Their last one was better I think. This band in general wears me out before the album is over every time though.

Smae. I like the album and their overall work, but I have to approach it in multiple sittings and then end up forgetting about it not long after

Re-latable! I put music in my “recently listened” just cause I’ll forget within a couple hours
