It's a subject of much dispute, good synopsis here:

Impressive, it feels like we've had dozens of threads about Drudkh's questionable political attitudes.

Didn't know that Mayhem were definite swastika now. Good thing Mysteriis was the last album I got from them.

Hmpf yes. That's a total pity.

I've never really went beyond Live in Leipzig as far as frequent listening goes anyway.

They are really giving it their all on this, it’s creative and feels inspired. Instrumentation is more diverse and fluid, and production is incredibly lush. Songs are more drawn out than usual for long emotional builds and melodic narratives which reminds me of Blood in Our Wells era. Powerful stuff, easy 4.5 with room to 5

It doesn’t top blood or autumn for me, but those albums are special and stand by themselves. they’ve been going through a style shift in the last few years away from folky influences to a cleaner, more urban vibe, I think they’ve pulled it off with this album very successfully

The only bad thing I can say is that I wish this band would bring back the keys. That's part of what makes autumn aurora so great

yeah I quickly get tired of guitar/guitar/bass/drums/screams no matter how well it's executed. this feels a lot like Dreams About the Spring so far, which was enjoyable in the moment but didn't have anything that really stuck with me.
