Haven't quite gotten swept into this yet. Gonna give it a few more tries cause it seems like I should something, but something about it feels somewhat bare.

The finale is the payoff for the entire thing... Otherwise table rock Antichrist is probably my favorite

Just bought this on bandcamp, which I basically do immediately for any album that gets a 5* sowing review. Your review points to a depth in the lyrics and song writing that I would have missed on a superficial listen. Still, despite Table Rock Antichrist being a complete ear worm, I am not yet caught by the rest of the tracks as much, partly do to some choices in the production that I find distracting. 3.5 for now.

I've had to sell my dog just to be able to keep up with the credit card bills.

"I'm kinda confused by the description of Table Rock as an earworm lol"

Its definitely the most gloomy song I have been joyfully whistling on my bicycle recently

On my first couple spins here, I'm aligning with the folks identifying the opener, Antichrist, and Poor Taste as big boy highlights here.

But some day we will pass

Across a crowded floor

We'll catch each other's eyes

Share nothing but a smile...

I am falling for this

Honestly it didn't take that much, I was pretty sold on most of this after the third listen (and giving your review a more thorough read). But yeah, this is pretty solidly my second favorite Conor Murphy release after Dealer and could maybe grow past that one.
