Ignored this until now because of how mid ‘The Path’ was. Decided to check it out on a whim, turns out it’s pretty solid. It’s not gonna pull new fans or sway anyone who didn’t like them before, but it’s infinitely better than ‘The Path.’

Was worried about how the percussion would go without Jared. But I gotta say, Celaya went absolutely fucking hard.

I didn't notice any difference in the drums tbh, but perhaps I was too busy being so damn bored

How this album has a better score than The Path is beyond me. This is the definition of uninteresting generic metalcore.

I haven't listened to this but I assume they did not let Trey do his thing so much as he does in invent animate

Bummer, was hoping his chops would improve the band’s songwriting. He’s great with the guitar too

this is the first and only FFAK album I have heard and I didn’t mind it. Nothing special but not bad. Apparently their earlier stuff is better?
