I'm basically in the same boat as Trey - never could get into these guys. A few decent songs here and there but that's about it for me. Def not bad tho. I think I'm in the minority in thinking the album cover is great lol

Sowing checking out darkthrone is a wild timeline, love it. The first half of the single on this they released is soooo boring and then the second half is like some of the wildest riffs I’ve heard them play in a minute. Gonna be interesting to see how this stacks up

I find a lot of influences of thrash, punk and doom in their last four releases, which is also what made me listen to them. I started with Artic Thunder and just found out I missed Old Star...
The opener has somewhat a Metallica feel, with acoustic intro, riffs, faster riffs and killer riff outro :D
