Stone Cold is def my least favorite here. After all these years I've still never warmed up completely to the Sum Grrl vox and it's no different here. Rest of this is pretty sweet though

It's not Sum Grrl on Stone Cold, it's Amelia Arsenic.
Sum Grrl is on The Grind and Rabbit out of Hiding.
Even if your point remains understandable, you didn't warm up to how the female vocals are used in the band.

The notion that this is made for dance floors makes so much sense. I didn't think of it that way until now, but it explains why there aren't the pummeling rhythms of albums like ReFrame or even the EPs. I much prefer that style, but I have a much better understanding of the ladt three albums now. It's just trying to do a completely different thing with different utility

I have to say, I definitely out the three EPs on Consolidate over the last few albums, because they are so diverse, yet catchy. Something about the albums is different in a way I am not a fan of, but I always appreciate new RJ material, because it's still great

I had not listened to Pathogenesis and Denature before the release of the album, they're nice additions to it.
Denature is really good.

In an interview with TheRockPit JP said Sum Grrl would appear more often, if she had more time, but both of them have two jobs and kids, so it hard to make any music at all.
Yea, that's probably why she isn't as prominent as on ReFrame or This Life and guest singers are there as well

I was happy to see that the album wasn't free for once.
As cool as it is to give out their music for free, it's naive. I love their music, I want them to get money for it.
6.66 dollars for an album is not evil.
I didn't know they had kids ! Hurrey !
