De-Loused was first for me, then this. This is better, but both rule.

All three are gold though. Anything past the three pale in comparison

Cassandra Gemini is so brutally tasteless but incredibly enjoyable

Tasteless I don't think is the right word. It can get a bit... freeform... sometimes, but it just sounds

like a sequence of insane jams that are (mostly) bloody awesome.

I need to bump my rating on this I think.

Yeah, pretty much. Only one that doesn't really conform with that is the first Miranda but that's cool anyway so we can let it off.

I dunno, that's kinda how these guys are, although "all over the place" would be a better adjective I guess.. It just seems to me that they try to do every little thing they can think of, no matter if the idea is good or bad. It's actually what makes them so interestin, enjoyable and refreshing to me so it's really not a flaw. It does make some their songs flow worse than they otherwise would, though (Cigatriz ESP would be perfect if the electronic interlude would be shorter imo). So yeah, tasteless might not be quite on spot as a word but w/e

I love this album soo much, but those weird interludes are absolutely awful. I hate them.

And about 90% of the voice changer stuff is horrible... But that rock music in between it all is so damn fine

That's exactly what I meant there before. It feels like Omar and Cedric were like "hell, let's try every friggin thing we can think of and see if the mess is good enough!". Fortunately this still SOMEHOW worked, although lots of the ideas are awful. Really digging this still, but it's weird to think like that for an album which you really enjoy so idk heh

L'Via L'Viaquez is a perfect example of where their experimentation just went so, so right.

This is my favorite album of all time. "L'Via L'Viaquez" is just...man, heavy but groovy.
