Yeah, one I'm against the US involvement in Ukraine, financially and militarily. It's their war and we have less than no business being involved in any way.
Two, the lyrics aren't anti American soldier it's against the war machine. The lyric you quoted is said from the perspective of the US Government sending young kids to die for political gain, while dangling "chest candy" for them to strive for. I mean you can't be that dense.
I'm against alot of what Stray from the Path stand for in their extreme nature, such as the song III. I'm pro law enforcement and I work in the field, so while I am against by alot of the lyrical content of that particular song (especially the blue flag line) I respect their ability to have an opinion even if I disagree with it.
Otherwise this is their best album and my favorite metalcore release of the year
