@Exhale - yeah I felt that way about both of the last two. Kinda overkill

What a return to form. This trumps dreamless for me. The new vocalist does wonders for them.

After giving it a few days to settle I think this tops everything except TFP. Insanely strong return to form.

Didn't know these guys were hitting my town until last night and got my ticket immediately. I saw them last when my favorite album from them (TFP) came out so I dunno if they can top that but it'll still be sick to see them live with Psycroptic.

Two songs in, and this should have been the successor to TFP.

Holy shit a Fallujah album where the lads doing what they're good at? These are good times for DM fans.

ANOTHER metal album with a onevox/Pete Mohrbacher cover? Guy might beat Frank Frazetta's score at this rate.

Honestly feels right at home with the other covers (excluding Undying Light). Could have been done by alex but I also dont know shit about art.

Review is spot-on! Agreed with every word. It's a grower. Certainly a return to form too, as already stated. Nothing to add except that this should/could have been released following The Flesh Prevails. Sounds like a natural progression of their sound if you purge Dreamless and Undying Light from auditory memory. Just hope those old fans that turned their back on the band circa '16 are willing to invest 52 minutes and 11 seconds into this release. It's AoT material in my humble opinion.

Do not get what the visceral hate for Undying Light was about. Certainly a much more boring album for them, but it's not terrible at all if you liked the other stuff. Still recognizably sounded like them.

Oh shit I gotta check this

Pretty sick to see Fallujah trending on Sput again. Thought TFP was gonna be their only peak.

Feels like a comfy old shoe…in a good way...after just a few listens. I’m really digging MOM too. Massive Covid migraines be damned. It’s so worth it!

yessss pj, same here, stoked to see them & Psycroptic. Actually, at this venue in Edmonton, two metal tours are colliding on the same night, at the same venue, at both the small & large stages. So in one night: Vale of Pnath, First Fragment, Psycroptic, and Fallujah.
I've seen Fallujah tour The Flesh Prevails in 2014, Dreamless in 2016, Undying Light in 2019, and now this material in 2022! Very lucky to have them keep coming to Western Canada. It's a shame Even Brewer won't be on this tour with them but this tour's bassist looks rad. They always put on a great show. I really dislike Undying Light as an album, but when that lineup toured the material, it was far more compelling. This new stuff should be killer live.
