This band can never replace Dillinger, but it definitely scratches that same itch.

Very solid, but I can't help but feel like this record and band can be summed up into two personalities: I Want To Be DEP (fair considering Billy is in the band), or I Want To Be Glassjaw/Deftones.
I prefer their take on I Want To Be DEP more than the latter. Hopefully they begin to explore more innovative stuff on the next one.

The muddier production and harsh vox sound very different from DEP.

Awesome review, couldn't have said it better myself. The Dillinger/Converge/Botch style of metalcore/mathcore is alive and well with bands like this. pos'd
