The atmosphere feels very detached in a powerful way. You really just get a sense of things crumbling around someone, a house turning into a prison and the narrator becoming the ghost that wanders it. Really preys on that quiet sense of inadequacy so many struggle with.

I'm halfway through it now. The album starts really good, I hope it keeps like this until the end.

Second half has some great cuts, the title track pt.2 is a great finale too.

Mars. What a fucking review. Incredible read. I would say this album takes on a whole direct approach. Not much light and airy moments. If I had to make a comparison Irreversible - Light comes to mind. Right down to the gritty production. I love this band.

Also, do the cleans sometimes remind anyone else of Empty Country?

So excited to see how well this has caught on here in some circles. Very good and very moody, better than the usual fare.
