This has a bit of an identity crisis. A lot of different styles, mostly either dated enough to sound derivative, or just not done as well as other artists did it.

Wild Chapters and God Don’t Make Mistakes are good

That's fair. Conway tends to blend different styles or cross over into different ones on a track-by-track basis. Although I find his collabs with Ghost Ltd are greater offenders in that regard.

I just find he blends it well, and I vibe a lot with his delivery and distinct voice. When he gets personal, even better. Appreciate you giving it a try tho!

How do you feel about my two highlights? Curious how someone who enjoyed the whole product would rank those two

Well I'd say my holy trinity are those plus "Stressed" so I'm totally with you actually lol, my favorite moments are when Conway strips back his persona and brings his real self to the table. There's an honesty and a vulnerability that heightens the songs. One day I hope he does a record full of cuts like that, even if I do still like the darker entries like "Piano Love."

Yeah I agree with that, I was particularly worried with the first couple songs, just making hype noises and stuff I was like “oh god this is gonna be really superficial” but it went a lot more places than I expected.

Mmmm yeah Conway uses a lot of those, especially the "WOO WOO WOO" and "brrrrt" shit lol, I find it endearing but it can absolutely be a turnoff and I don't fault anybody for that.

The sheer quantity of mediocre beats alchemist has produced is nothing short of astounding to be sure

Opener is incredible until beanie Sigel comes in and demolishes all the momentum

Stressed is alright, but I don’t really listen to conway for touchy feely lyrics hahaha
