Anybody know who the random white guy with the bull ring is they’ve got playing with them right now? Or what he even does?

Wow this is indescribably disappointing and quite possibly my least favorite Boris and/or Boris-related project in existence. I so desperately wish I saw what Johnny (and others) clearly see in this. Only standout track for me was 'Nosferatu', but I've been known to be forgiving when skronk is involved.

Seeing them tomorrow with Nothing as opener. Trying to LOVE this album, and the songs are good on their own but the production is not very good. Not in a "this is Black metal raw" type of way, because I understand that it's intentionally that way. This production feels.. flat and compressed. Songs good. Production poopoo

just saw them live and i must say, the faster paced songs live throw in a lot of flavor to their set. they’re the loudest band i’ve ever seen still, haven’t in like 5 years, and last time they didn’t play up tempo songs. it made me like it more but i doubt i would as much listening to the recordings

This might be the dumbest thing anybody's ever said about a Boris album, but I didn't expect this to be so audacious. Diggin it, will revisit for sure

"i refuse to believe that these are not bangers live - were the sound or crowd dead or smth?"

When I saw them it was mostly a mix of songs from this and from NO, but there were others here and there. And it was pretty leveled out between fast-paced rockers from those two albums and extended periods of noise and utter chaos. He was rattling a set of bells attached to a bunch of chains at one point
