Basically, when drafting the contract for Murray, the team included an unprecedented clause requiring Kyler to watch, at a minimum, 4 hours of game film per WEEK.
People thought back to older Kyler quotes where he essentially claimed to not watch game film. Was he still just coasting? Did the Cards not believe in rhe work ethic of the man they were handing massive money to?
They have since gotten rid of the clause, but the damage and memes have been done.
