I finally got around to checking this out yesterday and I listened to it 4 times. I was caught pretty off guard by how much I enjoy this.

don't dance sounds suspiciously much like the chorus of viva la vida

Riot Fest's sound is honestly not that great so I would not be surprised if that were the case. Could also be the fact that it was their first show as a unit too and still working on stage chemistry

I didn't attend, but wouldn't be surprising if he was trying to do too much. Dude is probably trying to find his live mojo again with a new group and being sober. Hopefully the kinks are worked out. I'm gonna see the Sound of Animals Fighting Tour, but I'm mostly going for Kitty lol

Kitty used to go by Kitty Pryde, she's married to the guy who does Teen Suicide and Ricky Eats Acid. Makes incredible bedroom pop. This is sadly supposedly her final tour under this moniker.

Teen Suicide and REA fucking rule, and Sam’s stuff as American Pleasure Club. Gonna have to check out Kitty now

would recommend Miami Garden Club if you like more pop, listen to Rose Gold if you like more bedroom. Kinda reminds me of music back from the myspace days in how grassroots her stuff is. Lowkey one of my most listened to artists

Skimming some stuff from both and I already love what I’m hearing! Thanks!

Also, was just gonna ask if you had any recs similar to Coma Cinema and Elvis Depressedly (been listening to CC’s Posthumous Release again lately) and found out that Sam and Kitty called dude behind those projects out for abusive behavior a couple years ago and was like “of all times”

Yeah, Kitty used to date the guy from Hot Sugar and outed him as a pretty awful abuser. He still harasses her to this day.

She's had a rough go of things, but I follow her on twitter. She recently moved to Florida with Sam and seems to be really happy doing her own thing. Seems like this final tour for Kitty is closing that chapter of her life and that she'll still make music under a different moniker.

That great to hear! I’m definitely gonna be keeping an ear out for whatever projects she works on in the future. These songs from Rose Gold and MGC are some of my favorite things I’ve heard lately

This record is just sooooo much better than any solo stuff he’s done so far. Just my opinion!

Anthony’s new single Megadeath is pretty fucking good. He even refers to the symphony of destruction ha. A slow, eerie, atmospheric song that just builds and builds.

I was hoping this album would include the track with Chino, but it doesn’t seem to judging by the track list.
