this is good and i respect the musicianship, but idk if it's for me. i like the clean and screamed vox though and there's a good bit of variety. think i need to be in the right headspace for grind/post hardcore stuff these days

When I saw the cover art I immediately thought another K-pop band was trying to sneak into the death metal charts... But luckily, they are nowhere near as K-poppy as Dir En Grey or Shapeshifter. And while they are not completely Bieber-poppy either, like Between the Buried and Me, or Opeth, it is still a little too proggy for my taste.

It's really a mish mosh of everything, from very mushy violins, bubblegum geek-punk vocals, black metal high pitch screams, low death grows, blast beat drums, slow/happy/jazzy beats, and a little bit of grindcore a la Napalm Death (very little though). It's fast, and they have talent, but the album seems to lack balls, what can I say?

Implying there's remotely any K-pop in this, lol. And how the hell are Dir En Grey or Shapeshifter related to K-pop either?
