dude huge chrome has his best production, especially from a sound design standpoint! on every other album he just samples the amen break and calls it a day, which limits his sound palette. the sounds are so much more diverse on HCCBU. Plus i feel his songwriting is better when he's not just doing amen breaks.

as for my downfall how have you not heard it yet? come on broe

Yeah bulldozer is better than the average suggests.

Chrome just seems lifeless and pointless tbh.i got bored of it very quickly and even if the production is better that won't change it. I plan on listening to my downfall this summer at least

chrome and this all depend on my mood on whether I want that jungle beats or glitch LP5

idk, the widespread acclaim of this and relative dismissal of the rest of vsnares' output irks me a bit. Plus I feel the breakcore tracks on My Downfall showcase much better fusion of the classical and breakcore than here. a lot of the stuff here feels kinda haphazard - it works, and sounds good, but you can tell funk doesn't have much of an idea of what he's doing. Whereas on My Downfall he's had enough experience to put stuff together skillfully. Not to say this is a bad album by any means, this is fantastic. I just don't think it's his best work.

but hey, an electronic dude used a bunch of classical samples, better tell all my friends about it and never check the rest of his work
