Yeah the structures are safe, yes it's nothing new. But I feel like it's more of a criticism for the genre itself than an actual issue specific to this. Personally I feel like this is a masterclass in how to write poppy metalcore. The hooks on this all hit to some degree, with riffs and melodies that are memorable and never feel stock or uninspired.

Sleepwalking and The Hollow had such a southern metal twang to the riffs that they just up and abandoned for some reason

I would love them to embrace the Justin Timberlake vibes Chaotic has in the chorus a lot more
