sleepwalking is definitely a good album

I can't even get myself to check out this band because of their band name. It's sooooooo early 2000's metalcore cliche. Top shelf cringe.

When they opened for parkway on ire tour. Mullins sat on a stool with a stupid hat the whole set. Ontop of never getting into them that soldified that they suck, bare bones energy for a live show

I remember when challenger came out that wasn't really that well received here and I definitely remember people clowning the shitty art. But I also didn't like hollow much either so I'm not the target audience for sure.

I used to have nostalgia for Challenger as that was my first MMF album I listened to/bought, but I went back and re-spun it like a year, year and a half ago and the majority of that nostalgia got washed away. It's not a terrible album, but generic as all hell.

I just listened to miles away and it was definitely miles away from good. The sinner is ok but like 3/5

I read a lot of bad comments here but, I have to say that this album brought metalcore back to a decent level since 2015, I think that everyone are all musicians and critics to say that shit against an album that's not a ''Bring me the horizon'' album.
Blood & Whater rapresent the essence of the ''original'' metalcore music, it has everything it should have.
If you focus on the feel of the structure deals during the various songs, the fuc*ing hardcore sounds that blend with death and pop with definitely mastered breakdowns that pump as hell, maybe not the best feats but still good choices, and last, the indisputable statement that no song ever really bored, like many other existing albums.
Don’t confuse the sound of an album with the personality of each song in it.
In conclusion, I think that this is easily the best metalcore album of 2022, it feel like 2010 metalcore in modern time, with kickass guitars and breakdowns, the sempiternal clean of Matty Mullins (absolutely one of the best voice existing), very well structured musical bases and, of course, the anger and the anguish that distinguishes the musical style.
Totally GG for MMF
PS. I hear metalcore since 2008.
