New Wednesday single is sick.

Even though Twin Plagues was fairly straightforward but ticked all my boxes, next album gonna be a step up in songwriting and complexity I think

Agreed. I’ve fallen in love with all their stuff as well, one of the most exciting bands in the scene right now.

I wish this excited me a little bit more - I've returned to it a few times throughout the year waiting for it to grip me more, but I just haven't quite gone there. Very fun though and good musicianship. Gotta read the lyrics more. Sounds like I need to check Wednesday!

Definitely still gonna see him at the little local hole in the wall venue in my area in October though

Try out the self-titled album, I feel that might click with you more than this one. Def try Wednesday too, I think they’re on the verge of really blowing up. Twin Plagues is probably the most listenable album I’ve come across this year.

I always believed it every time you said,

You're gonna be like our heroes someday,

Well baby, all our heroes now are dead,

'Cuz all things go

Niiiiiice one FlagAsh

And ha yeah Sunny, was really just one busy week. Though I have just bought a ticket to see Lenderman again when he comes back to my city in February for a headlining set... I might be a bit obsessed.

Excellent album, but hasn't been as memorable for me as Ghost of Your Guitar Solo. Maybe just need more listens. Probably in my top 20 of the year.

Super varied and consistently excellent stuff. The fuzzy, low-fi "Dan Marino" really tickles me.

The new Wednesday single sound closer to this than most of their other stuff. I'm hyped for the new release.

I'll see them in May but was sick when MJ came to town and missed the show
