is it weird that I hardly even think of this as an album? idk, it's about as much of an album to me as, like, La Jetee. All their other albums feel like albums to me but this one.... idk. The structure to it and the way the sound effects break up the tracks and everything feels so cinematic.

I get what you're saying. It's the sort of thing you can imagine finding on a reel of magnetic tape amidst rubble in a barren wasteland. Absolutely one of a kind, no doubt.

Sitting on the pier to a small lake utterly by myself, on the last real warm day of the year, blasting this album into the open air, the desolation of it all fit a little too well with the dying year. It was a really good decision to bike all the way down that day.
