you can understand that as well. Their lyrics are elementary and perfect for beginners.

Have to admit I wasn't thrilled with the singles, but I obviously need to dive into this in the next few days.

Pussy was pretty much their usual take on being deliberately provocative as they've always done, so more crowds will pay attention to them. Not a bad song, just pretty straight forward rock with some corney sex lyrics to make it more than it really was. Of course, it was Ich Tu Dir Weh that got them into trouble with that album so they got more than they bargained for.

Bland album overall, definitely their weakest as it has not a single great standout song imo. Till sounds great as always at least.



As a German Zick Zack has some clever and funny lyrics and sounds like the only really ambitious song if the record, video is an instant classic.

OK is bland as hell and probably made for the ballermann arenas of Mallorca.



Song Zeit has no real climax.

The ballads are too many, boring and sound line Heino. Production packs no real punch either.



Giftig is somewhat decent and energetic, Lügen has some nice lyrics and the autotune is hilarious and cleverly used in tandem with the lyrics.



Angst is too onedimensional and silly, generally there are no real standout choruses on this record, even a song that's called Dicke Titten sounds boring and like a B-side.

Adieu as closing song for their career couldn't have been more half-assed if they tried it.



After their ambitious last album I didn't expect such a dud.



2.5 and I'm generous.



Half the songs of supposed B-sides record Rosenrot like Benzin, Mann gegen Mann, Rosenrot, Spring, Hilf mir, Zerstören easily shit on everyting on this album, even the ballads of Rosenrot are better.



Seriously Rosenrot may have their best overall sound and songs, lyrics are outstanding on that record, especially compared to Zeit.

I think if the band are saying goodbye this is a pretty solid way to go out, although some tracks here don’t really work for me. I thought their last album was banger after banger, this one is more of an album album. The tracks on their own don’t feel right but as a whole they’re great, whereas their last I could play any track and it worked as it’s own thing

@Moses77: Totally agree. Though I cannot it rate it as good as you. I like Meine Tränen and Zick Zack, but the rest bores the hell out of me. Also, the lyrics are really very tame. There is not one song that couild count as controversial. Really puzzled about the high ratings.

Maybe it´s a problem that I understand the lyrics. But even when ignoring them, it is so bland, slow and simplistic that it hurts. I am afraid this is their worst output for me - even though I never was too big a fan...
