"About halfway through the album’s opener I knew that this is was the definitive culmination of all of their prior works."

This is the first sentence of your 5th paragraph. Either add a / between "is was" or get rid of one of them. Great review man. Pos'd

This is going to be on a lot of "Albums of the decade" list.

This one's the real deal, Johnny.

Fishes, KG, LW, and Flying Microtonal Banana all suffered from overhype in my opinion (also Polygwondanaland) but here their sound is just so refined and so well realized.

They're firing on all cylinders, here, and it just *works.*

Finally listening to this. First 30 seconds so far sounds like a Kanye West album

So far it’s all just small random riffs that anyone could play who doesn’t even play guitar. Lmao

Maybe it’s because I’m so awesome that I’m not impressed yet. That must be it.

Pre ordered the vinyl because of the review and the positivity in the comments. Pretty stoked

Welp. I saw 'The Dripping Tap' live last night, in the dead center of the mosh pit. Got headbutted in the face, hurled half a dozen people over the crowd, and moshed until my legs fell off.

I can barely stand. Glorious.

Glad to hear you ordered the vinyl, chemicalmarriage, I'll certainly be doing the same!

Magenta mountain sounds like a STRFKR song

honestly one of my least favorite gizz from what i've heard. i appreciate the variety in the tracks but there's a lot of not good here (e.g. the rap song is truly terrible). butterfly 3000 from last year was truly special though.

They’re still making music. Always a handful of good songs on each album but they don’t stray from the brand much
