Papps - I'd heard all the hits, you can't avoid them, but I'd never listened to complete albums. I don't think his lyrics are all that wonderful if you don't buy into his whole shtick, you've already got to be fully signed up to Team Morrissey to love most of them I'd say.
They've got to be one of the most widely hated bands of all time (admittedly also much loved be their fans).
They've written some good songs, I'd prefer them sung by anyone other than Morrissey though
