What a masterpiece... This is the black metal that is really hard and challenging to listen. It's incredibly layered, dense and menacing. Everything here is calculated for heavy psychodelia and exhaustion for listener. Production is top notch for black metal album, the guitars are distinct and never drown over synth and weird effects. Gongs are used for some great atmosphere here and there. Vocals are also very varied, some excellent clean, spoken verses here will haunt your dreams for weeks. Overall a top notch, heavy hitting, symphonic black metal. Dementia will consume your soul.
