I feel like this record has a low rating because it’s a far departure from the bands earlier more metal and gloom roots, but for what it is, an 80s inspired pop rock metal record, it’s fantastic.

Side A is basically perfect. It doesn't get much better than that. Side B on the other hand...

Eh, I think Watcher in the Sky is pretty easily the worst track here.
But side A definitely feels better paced to me. Ending the record with three mid paced tracks and an interlude isn’t a move I love. I like all three of them a lot but it feels like it drags just a little.
