i loved her lost girls record from last year so excited to hear this, think apocalypse girl is still my fave of her main stuff

Idk, I think this album makes a lot of sense after Practice of Love. Her artsy antics are cool and all but I like this more... "musical?" side of her stuff.

Also she's just such a good lyricist:

"Once you played in empty bars
Performing for the beer tap and the pool tables
Nobody giving you their card
Because you have potential"

Definitely in love with this thing, second best just after Viscera for me, and considering that album is like a totally different animal, this might be my favorite of the "not artsy" Hval albums, if that makes sense.
