I should probably listen to more of those bands you mentioned Phero, then perhaps I will end up lowering my rating by association - like if they're all way better, which seems likely. I love Slint, but not too familiar with the others.

I listened to Codeine like once, need to check again.

Glad I’m not the only positive one.

People Thought My Windows Were Stars is really good too, especially the title track. That’s worth a listen for about every whose main issue here is the length, that one’s technically an EP but it’s 40 minutes so functions essentially as an LP

Weirdly enough this reminds me of The For Carnation if anything
