“Deathcore is mostly a river of shit with the occasional whole kernel of corn floating in it.”
This is applicable to every genre

The 3.8 review rating for this is spot-on after the first playthrough. Very solid album.

Alright to me overall, Samsara is more consistent but I appreciate the diversity here. The band is really evolving and I still think the best is yet to come.
Haven’t even read the lyrics yet but I dug Samsara’s so I imagine this is probably the same.

Some of the lyrics (I can understand) hit pretty hard, haven’t delved very deeply though. I can hazard a guess at what Judges is on about by memory, at least generally… seems on point.
Better than the sort of generic death / gore orientated stuff some of their peers resort to, nice to see some diversity and thought provoking themes on show, something which I understand was also present on Samsara (like you say).

I remember Judges of the Underworld and pretty much all of Samsara getting pretty political so I can imagine the rest of the record is like them.

Oh wow this is good. Wasn't expecting this quality tbh. Melodic guitars and varied songs Right up my alley. Sounds as it should as well

Yeah this rules. Sits alongside Fit For an Autopsy and Shadow of Intent for early year belters. The melodeath Nemesis is one of the best. And yes I just heard LoG in Comfort of Complicity

I had Pain of Oizys in my random Spotify play schedule and got quite excited, but I find the rest that kind of death I find not exciting enough...as happened with some other of their discs

Pain of Oizys is incredible, one of my favorite tracks of this year so far.

I’d like to hear more cleans from Larissa. I honestly didn’t know she had it in her, I thought it was a guest spot when I first heard it.
