This album shouldn't be a guilts pleasure, the first half is fantastic. The second half is only ok but it's still a great album, that they haven't yet matched.

It's just so poppy compared to the stuff I listen to, I don't know. I almost try not to like it but I can't resist it's charm per se. Also, I have this album played over 100 times on my iTunes because I was in love with it in 5th grade so I've kinda gotten sick of it.

Don't get me wrong, the whole first half is complete gold, and both Mr Brightside and Andy, You're A Star give it stiff competition, but for me Jenny just edges it.

W/e though as long as your favorite is on the top end of the tracklist then I have no beef.

When I first heard the fantastic 2 lead singles 'Somebody Told Me' & 'Mr. Brightside', I would have bet half of my life savings that The Killers were a British band. With a little bit of post-punk & a lot of 80's new-wave, the Las Vegas quartet deliver a fun, flashy, catchy, enjoyable & irresistible debut LP. Sure, they don't quite get the indie components of their sound right & the album is severely front-loaded, but this still has to be highly rated due to its highlights. There should be something for everyone here on this strong debut. Recommended Tracks: Somebody Told Me, Mr Brightside, Smile Like You Mean It & All These Things That I've Done.

Brandon Flowers can't sing?? That's your critique? Boy! have you heard that man sing? I'm sorry, it's my favorite band, and trust me he's an excellent singer.

3EB is my favorite album of all time but I think this album means more to me at least for nostalgia.
