Veil... is magnificent. Like Ramon level of writing good. I'm having a lot more trouble wrapping my head around the transitions and yawn inducing moments on this.

Gonna need to revisit these guys at some point this year. But is it as good as Warforged?? I bet this band doesn't even have actual lyrics. Real heart tugging, fantasy men brawling, tongue strangling lyrics.

My general take is that everything they did before was super incoherent. This is Wilderun's first work that flows well, with nothing feeling out of place.

I loved Veil and I am loving this a lot too. This band is becoming really big in my book. The fact they sent me a signed copy of Veil by surprise helps aswell

Ngl Veil went a little too proggers for me. I really like the simpler yet unmatched bombast of stuff like Olden Tales but who knows maybe I'll love this
