Great review by the way Fer, that first para captured nocturnal fascination really nicely.

Thing is, I have no idea whether or not this kind of post black metal is super generic or not. I only know that I really like this band

I very much enjoyed the BM parts, not so much the post rock bits. although they are still indisputably good.

It's the seasonal peak vs pandemic constraints. It seems covid is here to stay, damn it.

Fuck covid.
This on the other hand is awesome. Especially Am Rande der Dunkelheit and Gegen das Licht are amazing.

Same, the harder parts are what make Finisterre better than this for me

Love the cover.
It is a pretty good album on the first listen. I am not sold on the clean vocals though.
The intro of Gegen das Licht is amazing.
Will give it a few more spins.

Rad record. Feels like we got more awesome albums in Oct/Nov than we did in all the previous months combined this year.

Easily my favorites as well

Might be my favorite album from these guys. Damn near perfect balance of the manic aggression of Finisterre and the more atmospheric/post-y stuff they did on Stellar (which I actually preferred).
