i dont think anything here is bad but void and into you are my least favs. both just need a few tweaks to their melodies and song structures. into you repeats that chorus tooooo much change it up a bit if youre gonna do that! did not need to have it come back at the end either

"With Barr’s return and chemistry with Terry, their most recent effort brings back the beauty of the dual-threat vocals mixed with the intriguing progressive metalcore style of their older style."

One little nitpick, saying style twice like that at the end of the sentence sounds kinda weird/redundant. Maybe get rid of first style or say something like "...mixed with their older style of progressive metalcore."

Love how Into You takes such a dark turn halfway through. One of the coolest songs on here imo

Man, this is just a solid af record. Though Via and No Sleep had bigger standout tracks for me personally, this is much more digestible. The new melodic approach seems like the progression we would’ve gotten after No Sleep.

Standouts are t/t, FBX, Malevolent, and Man On Fire.

Absolutely agreed, this is a natural progression from no sleep

Void isn’t bad, but it feels like a filler. Would’ve rather had holywater swapped out for it.

ive just been jamming holywater and pixelate at the start of the album right before fbx. pixelate -> fbx flows decently enough

pixelate before FBX is a great way to start it off, swap void for holywater? ;)

despite being a clear lowlight, i do like void and personally wouldnt skip it. i dont even really mind the chorus that much even if its a pretty basic hook. if anything its that nu metal riff at the start that i dont dig lol
