4 because the production and mixing are elite. Also because of the different styles of vox. Only a few songs are memorable. More play throughs could change that. I like the band and some of their previous releases. Not a fan of the genre at all but this band does it right for me.

"Only a few songs are memorable" couldn't disagree more. Almost every song has an incredibly catchy hook, be it a chorus or melody, that keeps me coming back. Every song is a banger, even songs like Fight of Your Life I wasn't really sold on but by the end was totally digging. Easily gonna land a place in my top 10 for 2021. Not sure if they got a new lead guitarist, haven't been following their lineup too closely over the years, but there is some very welcome and tasteful shredding peppered throughout and I love it

Only Sweet Trip and Deafheaven are better in terms of albums this year.

Actually Thymiamatascension by Alora Crucible is my third favorite, then this is fourth.

It's interesting how seamlessly Swallow the Sun and Hanging Garden, two Finnish acts, have incorporated post rock/metal in their latest albums, sounding different at the same time.

This band have always dabbed in post rock/metal. Definitely why I dig them.
