--I think they need to venture into more unique compositions and riffs whilst keeping this style of layers and atmosphere--
Despite the fact I really like this, I do struggle to see where they move forwards with their sound. I'm going to be disappointed if they just auto-pilot this sound unto oblivion. Where-as Falls Of Rauros has/had a real growth in their sound Can Bardd has kind of plateaued already - they're just in a really good spot right now.

The closer on The Last Rain I think is their greatest. The Caladan Brood ending makes me very happy, and I would look to this for future inspiration
