I love it too. The hate seems weirdly misplaced with that track.

Not a fan of her but I'm all for her reclamation of her music; Scooter Braun always comes off as a massive douchebag.

The mix on the first song took me by surprise a bit but there are still some songs on here that sound like all the instruments have been packed into one of those vacuum air bags, you know what I mean?
Still, the story surrounding the ownership of these albums is interesting. I wonder what it would look like if it were an independent artist...

I'm really looking forward to Speak Now and 1989
The only way she'll make Rep better is by removing most of the songs

Very well said, Sowing. I too like Red more now than at first. A couple of the singles that bordered on annoying now fall on the side of good pop fun. The only thing I disagree with you on is I really like the song Stay Stay Stay. This album just might have the best songwriting and inventiveness of all of her pre-Folklore pop albums.

We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, I Knew You Were Trouble, 22, and Stay Stay Stay are all pretty terrible

22 and Stay Stay Stay are among my favs. The other two got better over time for me.

I just hate that before Folklore she would always put like 3-5 really annoying songs in every album (except maybe Speak Now)

I also had to get used to the song Red. I liked all of it but the drawn out word Red.

I knew you were trouble, 22, Stay stay stay and Red are certified BANGERs. We are never ever getting back together could get tossed though, that one just crosses the line imo.

Only tracks I've never dug off Red are Moment I Knew and Girl At Home. Not annoying, just so bog-standard.

I'm curious as to why she didn't just re-record them in chronological order.

I agree with this in regards to the more poppy songs
