Trve ford. What I meant is that one goes for a more apparent simplistic approach and others a more speed complex riffing one, it makes it easier to say whats better. I personally find this one with more depth, so there s that.

I agree their both a bit to different to be compared. This blows hyperdontia outta the water to me tho tbh. I dont even think it's close.

If it was between this and the first Hyperdontia I'd say it's be pretty darn close. On one listen though, the new Hyperdontia didn't have anything that was immediate or grabbing for me, and in all honesty it seemed to be rather generic. I've only had one listen though, but I couldn't even come out with a standout track by the end.

Hum idk guys. The bass on Hyperdontia is pretty awesome f.e. pretty unique to use what seems to be a fretless bass and elevate it in the mix as well, for this new school of osdm I mean.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll have to listen for the bass extra closely next time I spin it. Because of circumstances I do most of my listening now on just my mobile phone unfortunately :/

There's two records of late that I've heard where the bass just floors me. I can't remember what one of them was atm but it's from this year, and the other is Spectrum of Delusion's "Neoconception". It's sort of your standard tech death but the bass in every song is in the vein of Intronaut Prehistoricisms and it's godly sounding.

incubus of bloodstained visions is a monster of a track, that groovy riff that comes in at like 3:17 is the fucking business

All yall need to check the new dream unending. Out on 20 buck spin. Doom album with Derrick Vella from tomb mold. Good shit. One of the better doom or death albums this year.

That Dream Unending album is nuts. It has these shoegaze and dream pop like moments that really set it apart.
